Our Wholesale Program

Hart-T-Tree Farms grows premium Fraser Fir Christmas trees ranging in size from 3’-15’. We also offer wreaths, greenery, and other tree varieties including Turkish fir, Concolor fir, Korean fir and Scotch Pine.

Since 1977, Hart-T-Tree Farms has been growing premium Christmas trees that bring joy to families across the country. We were retailers before we were growers, so we understand that it takes beautiful, healthy, “Hart-T” trees to be successful at the retail level. As a wholesale partner, you'll benefit from our unwavering commitment to quality, reliability, and exceptional service that has made us a trusted name in the industry.

As a small, dedicated team, we offer truly personalized service. You can count on us to listen carefully to your specific needs, provide clear communication throughout the process, and deliver quality trees exactly when promised. Our Practices

Our growing, harvesting, and shipping practices were cultivated with the retail customer in mind.

  • We employ experienced trimmers who carefully shape each tree for fullness, symmetry, and easy decorating.

  • We “butt-prune” our trees, cutting off the bottom branches, so that they are retail ready.

  • We carefully plan our cutting and shipping schedule, so that our trees are shipped within days of being harvested.

  • We understand that you have a short window to sell your trees. We work closely with you to ensure that your trees arrive on time.

Commitment to Our Workforce

We utilize the H-2A agricultural worker program to bring in the experienced men and women who care for our trees season after season. In 2026, mandated H-2A wage rates dropped significantly nationwide, but we chose a different path.

Our Workforce Practices Include:

  • Tiered wage system ensuring every returning worker earns above the mandated rate, reflecting skill, longevity, and leadership

  • No-cost primary care provided through a local healthcare partnership launched in 2024

  • Paid sick leave, allowing workers to rest and recover without financial loss

We believe that healthy, supported workers are essential to maintaining the quality and consistency our partners expect.

Commitment to the Land

Our farms sit in the Blue Ridge Mountains and within the New River watershed. We care deeply about protecting our beautiful mountains and our ancient river for generations to come.

Wholesale Terms & Conditions

  • We can arrange shipping for full or partial loads. We work with experienced trucking companies, owner-operators, and brokers to arrange shipping in enclosed or refrigerated trucks.

    Customers are responsible for all freight charges. We work hard to keep freight rates as reasonable as possible. Customers should be aware that freight becomes more and more competitive closer to Thanksgiving which mean rates can increase.

    • All trees come butt-pruned and baled in twine. Trees are hand-loaded, unless purchasing tabletops by the case.

    • If you order less than a full load, your requested delivery date is not guaranteed.

    • Depending on the trees and greenery ordered, a regular-sized (53′) trailer can hold between 500-600 trees. Sometimes more. Sometimes less. We cannot tell you exactly how many trees will fit.

    • We do not guarantee delivery schedules. Any disputes over delivery delays or schedules must be reported directly to the trucking or logistics company involved.

    • Most trucking companies allow up to two hours for unloading. If additional time is required to unload, you may be charged for it at the rate used by the trucking company involved.

    We will let you know by November 10th when your scheduled delivery date will be. The broker, owner-operator, or truck driver is responsible for letting you know an exact time.

    If you would like to arrange your own freight, please feel free to do so. Pick-up orders must be scheduled in advance so that we can work you into our loading schedule.

  • All prices are FOB Grassy Creek, NC 28631. Price lists are printed every year. Current year price lists cancel all previous lists and quotes.

    A 15% nonrefundable deposit is due at the time of order or your order is subject to cancellation. An additional 35% is due by September 30th. New customers and seasonal lots will be required to pay in full before shipping. Customers in good standing can request net 15 from the date of shipment.

    Past due accounts are subject to a service charge of 3% per month which will be automatically added to the bill. If payment is not received by March 1st of the following year, accounts will be handed over to a collection agency. In the event the buyer fails to make payment as agreed, buyer agrees to pay all collection charges including reasonable attorney fees and court costs.

    All orders and/or changes to your order must be made before October 1st. We will allow cancellations with a full refund only if we are able to sell your trees within the same season.

    We will do everything possible to ensure that you receive everything on your order. However, inclement weather, inventory changes, crop failures, or any other conditions beyond our control may cause delays or changes in your confirmed order. We will refund any applicable payments made.

    Hart-T-Tree Farms prides itself on quality Fraser firs, but if you are not completely satisfied with your product, you have 10 days to contact us. Claims for damaged products must be submitted within 24 hours of receipt.

  • ASSUMPTION OF RISK AND RELEASE OF LIABILITY

    By purchasing wholesale Christmas trees from Hart-T-Tree Farms LLC ("the Farm"), you agree to the following:

    1. NO WARRANTIES

    • THE FARM MAKES NO WARRANTIES, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY OR FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE.

    • Trees are natural products and may contain natural variations.

    2. LIMITATION OF LIABILITY

    • The Farm is not liable for any special, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages from the sale or use of Christmas trees.

    • The Farm's total liability will not exceed the purchase price of the trees.

    • The Farm is not responsible for tree performance after delivery or pickup.

    3. TRANSPORTATION AND HANDLING

    • The Farm is not liable for any damage, injury, or loss occurring during transport.

    • Proper care instructions will be provided, but the Farm is not responsible for tree deterioration due to improper handling, storage, or display.

    4. INDEMNIFICATION

    • Buyer agrees to indemnify and hold harmless the Farm, its owners, employees, and agents from any claims or damages arising from the purchase, transport, or use of trees.

    5. FORCE MAJEURE

    • The Farm is not liable for failure to perform due to circumstances beyond reasonable control, including weather conditions, natural disasters, fire, disease, or insect infestations.

    6. SEVERABILITY

    • If any provision of this disclaimer is found to be invalid, the remaining provisions shall continue in effect.

    By purchasing wholesale Christmas trees from Hart-T-Tree Farms LLC, you acknowledge that you have read and agreed to these terms.
